Mental Health Journal Mockups (+Copey iPhone Wallpapers)

Image
I finally made the mockups for the mental health journal with Copey, my designs for the cover and inside cover got finalized so I went ahead and made a mockup for my printed portfolio! I think it turned out really great. finding mockups it seems takes longer than doing the actual designs!  I also made some iPhone wallpapers of Copey if anyone would be interested. Thanks for all the support with Copey! it means alot, and makes me feel like I know what im doing haha

High Fidelity Work of Copey

Image
High fidelity (hi-fi) design  closely matches the final result of a product's design . Content, visual styles, and animated transitions — all work together to make high fidelity assets look and work as close to the final product as possible.     The next step after sketching is usually the time you then take your work into illustrator, photoshop, and everything in between. Im now working on a Journal Cover as well as the inside cover of the journal as well. Let me know which ones you guys like !  Inside Cover Art ------------> <-------------------------Front Cover art

Meet Copey! Your mental health blob.

This is Copey! (get it...bc you cope with mental illness?..totally.) for my project i decided that perhaps having a character be the focal point of representing mental health would help make the subject less dark. I know talking about mental health can be awkward or hard to talk about so maybe a character could help people relate more and look at Copey and be like "yeah thats me!" So I made a character sheet to showcase the range of emotions and some thumbnails of potential pieces.

Sketching and Sticker Making !

Image
For my senior project we were tasked with sketching this weekend! I sketched up a bunch of concepts for my series of mental health work. I thought about coming up with a little character that the viewer could relate to rather than just another human related ad. I thought this would bring a lighter tone to the subject of mental health since it can be quite dark. I thought that would be a cute idea and I gave him a name; Copey. (Deriving from the word cope) Since we cope with mental illness, his name is therefore Copey. Also Bonus stickers at the end for the senior show in April that I might include as a final deliverable.

Side Project; Logo/tag for UIUC Engineering Team

Image
My boyfriend is apart of an engineering group project and they each were assigned to a team to which he asked me if I could make a logo or tag for them. They gave me their own sketches and ideas to work with and this was the final product! It took way longer than I would like to admit but it was very fun to do! He told me he wanted something "badass" so this is the result of that suggestion.
