Design Thoughts

 This week I took a small break from Copey work, and have continued work on my other portfolio pieces. These are posters for the women rights movement about Women Support Women.  In an effort to promote posivity and female empowerment, women have been sharing photos or videos of themselves on social media expressing their love for being a woman. There is that stigma that girls can be mean to other girls for some pretty stupid stuff, so I wanted to join in on the conversation by creating these posters. I thought they provided a powerful message on body image, making friends, and being there for the women in our lives. 

 Started working on the top portion of my calendar for Copey! These are not in correlation with any specific month. They each represent what it is like to cope with mental illness and the typical symptoms of what it feels like in a visual way. Copey is here to ease the viewer into how it may seem in a persons mind when coping with mental illness. These were alot of fun to do! These are just the first drafts and will soon go into editing. Let me know what yall think, which ones do you think are the most accurate in terms of representation?

      This is Tater (like tater tot)! No Copey or portfolio content this week. I am burnt out lol. Instead I have been spending time with my cat and my nephew over spring break to decompress. He is my favorite little guy and ive been so looking forward to seeing him! He is just as happy as ever and was happy to see me. Have a good break everyone!! 

  Getting ready to enter the most daunting part of my senior project, the top piece of my calendar 😰😰😰 Here is the bottom section with a standard calendar but also includes a wellness goal tracker for each week of the month. I thought that might be a better way to approach goal tracking since doing one everyday can be a bit scary. Im so nervous to complete the top sections! but it must be done. But thats a spring break project. Let me know which month is your favorite!
